Forklift Propane Cylinder Exchange

Scheduled exchange of full 33 pound forklift cylinders, with a storage cage sized to your fleet. The cylinders and their inspection paperwork remain ours.

Forklift Cylinder Exchange

Full Cylinders on a Schedule

A forklift fleet stops when its cylinders run out. We run a scheduled exchange: full 33 pound cylinders in, empties out and the cage kept stocked, so your operators are never searching for fuel in the middle of a shift.

The cylinders are ours, and we inspect them routinely. Tracking the requalification date on each cylinder is our responsibility, not something your safety officer has to follow up on.

Forklift Exchange Process

How the Exchange Works

  1. We Size the Cage to Your Fleet

We review your truck count, shifts and workload, which determines how many cylinders need to be on site.

  2. We Set the Cage and Stock It

Storage cages come in a range of sizes. We place yours where your operators work rather than across the yard.

  3. We Exchange on a Route

Full cylinders in, empties out, on a schedule, with no purchase order each time a cylinder runs empty.

33 Pound Forklift Cylinders

Storage Cages

Cages in a range of sizes, placed where the work happens so operators do not walk far for a cylinder.

Inspection We Own

Our cylinders are inspected on a routine basis, so tracking requalification dates is our responsibility rather than yours.

Floor buffer cylinders, temporary heat cylinders and patio heater cylinders go on the same route. For a one-off walk-in refill, our Plantersville and Huntsville offices refill cylinders in person.

Forklift Propane FAQs

Forklift Exchange Questions

Do We Buy the Cylinders?

No. The cylinders belong to Texas Star and we inspect them routinely, which is why this is an exchange rather than a sale, with no cylinder purchase on your part.

How Often Do You Exchange?

On a schedule set by how hard your fleet runs. We run forklift routes multi weekly, weekly, biweekly and monthly.

What Size Cylinder Do Forklifts Take?

The standard lift truck cylinder is 33 pound, which is what we stock and exchange. If your trucks use a different size, we will confirm it before the first delivery.

Is There a Charge for the Cage?

Cage sizes vary to suit your fleet. Cages and cylinders are covered by a lease agreement.
